Named sets is one of my favorite features
Great refresher on named sets. Keep the videos coming!
Helpful use of named sets for new users
I like the format of these. Small doses of useful information are easier to fit in than trying to get a longer chunk of time.
We use Names Sets for time, version and location and they are a Godsend for making reports flexible and easy to use!
Namesets are one of my favorite features especially for time. You dont have to change the time in each template if handled correctly. We also use it for location and Customer dimemsion in our Sales cube.
helps as references for issues down the line also… as reminders! Thank you.

Can you share some best practices for using name sets in dimensions other than Time?
Time is the most common dimension where named sets are used. Depending on how versions are being used named sets may be used there (for example having a named set for data entry version which can be used in templates, to set write access in Security Manager, or on processes). In Sales Cubes named sets that pull the top X customers or top X products.
All your videos are helpful, very nice to walk through this with some guidance.
We love name sets…they are a curtail part of our reporting.
