Interesting share and concept.

I will see how we can make use of this!

We might use this in our templates

This is an excellent tip. I like to add my Linked Templates as an Auto-Text and format the text in blue text/blue underline, to mimic a hyperlink so that it stands out to the user as “click here”.

As well - you can add more than 1 Linked Template to a report!

I had no idea this was possible. Interesting, will hold onto this for when we can identify an appropriate use for it.

I don’t currently use this, but I think it will be something I can start using!

Looking forward to use this function.

Yes! Glad to see this tip!

A creative to use this is having a template be an initial landing spot. This template contained 3 images (objects) that represented a different report. Each image had a link to a report. By opening this report, the user can pick and choose what report they want to see.

On these other reports, there was a link to the initial report. This creates an effect of navigating a mini website

We find that linking our prior budget templates to our current year budget template is a very useful. This is a great way to streamline the managers Prophix experience and reduce clicks.

I’ve not attempted to link a file, I will have to give this a go!

It is helpful to hear people’s comments on how they would use this feature.

This was a helpful refresher, thank you!

Good reminder, thank you.

Thanks for the great tip!

I will have to try this out.

We’ve used the links to templates in our dashboards by adding a link to any chart in the dashboard.
