Hey Crystal - Great to hear from you as well. The best way would be to turn off write access to those cost centers within Security Manager. You can use a Named Set to group these as well to optimize future maintenance.

Hi Hassan - I don’t understand “turn off write access to those cost centers within Security Manager.” I know I can add which cost centers users can write too though I do not know how to exclude a certain named set of inactivated cost centers. For example, if a user has write access to a certain list of cost centers - I just need to ensure an inactivated cost center is not included, right? But do I have an option to say exclude members in this named set? Thanks!

Our balance sheet accounts reflect the period balances for each month, when looking at a BASE Time Perspective. Is there a way to change this so that inputs for actuals and forecasts by month can be populated with the period change, rather than the ending balance? I’ve set up a Time Perspective using LAG formula to see the period change for reporting, but want to be able to input data this way as well, instead of having to input running balances.

Is it possible to download Process files? It seems there is only the option to upload.

Is it possible to export our dimension tables (members, parents, properties) to a flat file, instead of needing to contact Prophix to retrieve from the backend?

Is it possible to import calculations (calculation method and/or calculated TC method) for calculated members in a dimension import process?

How can I get my forecast to look at historic trends for the account / location, rather than me defining the increase manually? similar to the Trend tool in Excel

Hi Crystal- Just jumping in here, how about if you give write access to ‘All minus inactive cost centers’?
Hello! Is there a way to sort data in a template? For example, the columns would be Actual, Plan, and Actual vs Plan, and we would like the data sorted based on the largest to smallest variance of Actual vs Plan. Thanks!

Are you looking to add any additional formatting to the cells within Prophix. Being able to format cells as a date within Prophix would be helpful. We are a UK customer and sometime it doesn’t pick up our dates as dates and stops formulas from working properly! Being able to format things as dates easily might help with this.

Typically, Balance Sheet is as of date/ ending month end balance. Could you please provide an example why you would need to enter the net change for Actual? Is this for manual adjustments for a specific account?
Hi Angel-This is possible with custom namedset MDX. This is little more advanced and I would recommend you set-up some time with a consultant.

How do you delete workflow task comments when you roll the workflow to a new workflow and do not want to keep the workflow task comments from the prior budget cycle?
