Matheus - I am referring to something similar to “drill across” on the actuals. There really is no way to get to the line item detail on the budget side. For example, when we budget for a consultants, we may have 5 different consultants budgeted for the month (and we enter 5 lines for each, along with their names, and notes on the budget side) and when we are doing a variance analysis, it would be great for our users to quickly reference that budget level detail so they can see what makes up the budget. Right now, it appears the only way to provide our users with that level of detail is to link the report or give them an excel file where they need to start filtering their budget data. Does this make sense? Thanks for replying to my post! Really appreciate it.
Thank you, Julie. I am going to look into this.
I got it, if you already uses the “Line item Schedule” i think isn’t much to do, seems that you already know about the linked report.
Have you tried the line item report? It shows a better visuals for the line item schedule.
By the way, if you want, it’s possible to create a drill across for the budget too, you can export to a database all the budget information and create a drill across with this exported data (maybe creating a view with some actual information), depending on what you need this might solve your problem.
