FP&A Analyst (Chicopee, MA or South Paris, ME)

Precinmac is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our Corporate Finance Team in Chicopee, Massachusetts or South Paris, Maine. Must be able to commute to one of these two locations.

This position includes facilitating, verifying, and running the Consolidated Month End reporting processes, as well as the maintenance and documentation of other financial models needed to provide timely and concise analysis and recommendations to Business Management and Corporate Executives.

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Maintains and refines internal process of collecting, manipulating, and analyzing financial data, including validation of expected results from accounting and financial tools.
  • Support and improve the budgeting & forecasting process for multiple departments and companies within the organization.
  • Prepares and analyzes financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies.
  • Provides ad-hoc analysis as requested by senior management and corporate executives.
  • Identifies and contributes to the implementation of process improvements and documentation.
  • Maintains clear and concise communication with various matrix partners.
  • Support Financial System Administrator for our Corporate Performance Management Software (CPM), Prophix.
  • Learn to train, educate, and help, existing and new Prophix users.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Additional Skills & Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Data Science and Business Analytics.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in accounting, finance and/or data analysis.
  • Experience creating financial models using Excel or similar tools.
  • Ability to understand and effectively translate numbers, and financial data, clearly and concisely to various audiences both up and down the chain of command.
  • Ability to work with, and manipulate, large data sets and from multiple systems or sources (General ledger, CRM, Excel) to identify appropriate data as well as trends/variances.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Process oriented. Improve existing processes and create new ones where needed.
  • Keen attention to details and maintaining confidentiality a must.
  • Corporate Performance Management software experience preferred, specifically Prophix however, not needed for the position.
  • Experience with relational database management (e.g. SQL) a plus.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

This will be on-site position to start and as we move forward we are open to partial remote work-from-home.

This position also requires 15-25% travel, as needed.
