When adding a new user to Prophix, it is useful to highlight key files within Document Explorer for ease of access. You can achieve this by adding files to a user’s or group’s favorites.
Steps
Open Document Explorer and locate a file you would like to assign.
Then select the file by click in the check mark button.
Click on the Actions drop down and choose one of the following options: Add to User(s), or Add to All Users. In this case we shall choose Add to User(s).
Now you can select the users you would like to apply this favorite to by double clicking them. Note that you can choose either individual users or groups denoted by the icon to the left of the user list (groups have an orange icon and individual users have a blue icon).
Select Ok.

I have a group within security manager and then I have a few templates assigned to this group using favorites. However it seems that when I add new users to the group the favorite don’t automatic get assigned to the new user I have added to the group. I have to always go back into favorites and either add the reports to the one user or the group again. Is there any way to automate this and not have to take the additional steps?
I would interested in learning more about the security manager way of dealing with favourites centrally. I will book a CSP call to explore - thanks all.
