Prophix Tips

A place to share tips and have discussions around your use of Prophix in the construction space.

Hello All,

One of your peers requested a video about a working capital management in Prophix. For everyone’s benefit, you can find that short video here.

Hi everyone,

I found an interesting article on WIP reporting posted by the CFMA that might be of interest to the group.

Here’s the link to the article.

Tip 5 in particular caught my eye because a number of clients are already leveraging Prophix to do this. If you haven’t explored this aspect yet, Prophix can help you spot historical data trends in your WIP and help you analyze the data at a much deeper level.

Who’s already using Prophix in this sort of way? Who has other WIP reporting best practices? Please share!

Anyone interested in WIP reporting, keep an eye out for our April CEWS registration details (via registration activity in your What’s new carrousel here in Red Carpet). I don’t want to spill the beans but one of your Prophix peers will be sharing their experience and use of a Jobs Cube and WIP reporting.

Has this been scheduled? We really need help getting our WIP reporting up and running

Hi - The registration page is currently under development, and should be available early next week at the latest. In the meantime if you want to block your calendar to ensure you are available, it is scheduled for Wed April 26 at 1pm Eastern.

Hi Dean,

I just saw a challenge posted in Red Carpet with a registration form to this webinar… here’s the link to the form, although you may want to register through the challenge so you can earn a couple of Red Carpet points along with registration.

Hi Everyone,

In our last Customer Empowerment Webinar, we provided an overview of the latest updates from our Q1 Release. Be sure to check out the recording if you weren’t able attend live.

Here’s the link to the recording.

Hi All,

Some of you had mentioned in our feedback survey that job costing was one of the main challenges you were dealing with.

@daniel.fellows hosted a panel discussion through the AGC with three construction clients from Batson Cook (Jeff Krall), XL Construction (Tina Shimizu) and Electra Link (@brandy.loughrie.moore).

Apart from a general look at the economy, the webinar specifically covered job costs including understanding forecasting, tracking of actuals and variance analysis. It’s definitely worth a listen if you’re encountering challenges around job costing.

Here is the link to the webinar.

If you’re looking for some assistance around your job costing challenges or if you’re thinking about rolling out forecasts to department managers, message me directly or you can connect with your assign CSM.

I am brand new with my company, where is the best place to start training on how to use this software? I am a Data Analyst, I need to do about everything with this software I can.

Hi Mindy, thanks for reaching out and welcome to Prophix!
I reached out to our Customer Success team and you can expect one of our CS Analyst to reach out with resources and next steps
