Is there any way to turn off the Data Spreading Function.
We would like the data only to be entered at the lowest level instead of topping down.

If you’re using a template for data entry, the best way I’ve found is to format the total cell as “locked” to prevent data entry entirely.

Hi Gloria,
You can do this by going into the Data View ring / settings icon
Properties >> Settings >> Uncheck the time spreading option
This will disable the ability to enter data at a non-leaf level (i.e. any aggregate levels in the dimension - Time and / or other dimensions). And when you try doing so in a template, the user will get this prompt:
